“In a similar way these [in the second group] are the ones on whom seed was sown on rocky ground, who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with joy [but accept it only superficially]; and they have no real root in themselves, so they endure only for a little while; then, when trouble or persecution comes because of the word, immediately they [are offended and displeased at being associated with Me and] stumble and fall away.”

‭‭Mark‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭AMP‬‬

I sense in the realm of the spirit that some of you are drowning in the worries of life. Life has been heavy and burdened and you cannot see your way out of it. Your experiences are surface level. Basically what you can feel, hear, or information you currently know has weighed you down.

Your attention at this time should be directed on your foundation, what you are rooted in. The word of God goes forth as a seed into the heart of man representing the soil. If you love nature or generally observe aspects of it, you can tell that not all soils are the same. Some may be moist and fertile while others are hard, rocky, and dry. Any gardner will tell you they want a moist and fertile soil. This will allow the seed to grow in a healthy manner. I would advice for you to read the entire Mark 4 for a clearer understanding.

The same is true when it comes to your heart. The condition of your heart will determine how effective the word of God impacts you. How do you receive the word when it comes forth? Unfortuntely many Christians are too emotional that they forget about standing on the word. It's as if the word of God was never spoken from the beginning.

““Do not let your heart be troubled (afraid, cowardly). Believe [confidently] in God and trust in Him, [have faith, hold on to it, rely on it, keep going and] believe also in Me.”

‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭1‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]”

‭‭John‬ ‭16‬:‭33‬ ‭AMP‬‬

The word is true and unfailing. Yes it tells you and I that we should not allow our faith to be moved, and yes we will have trials and tribulations, and yes we will face sufferings but no need to worry because we are an overcomer through Christ Jesus. The world we live in will only get darker and you must hold fast to your conviction and confession. When you feast on the word of God, it resonates deep within your spirit man. In the day of trial, the anchor you will draw strength from is the word of God that has been sown deeply within.

The description of the individual described in the beginning Mark 4:16-17 is one that is emotional. When you receive a word, the word will always be tested to know if you believe that word or would change your confession. Take note of that. The beautiful thing about God is that He is consisent and is the same God of yesterday, today, and forever. His love is unconditional. Thank God He does not love us with conditions as many people do today. One moment they love you the next moment when they are provoked, they fall out of love. If God loves us this way, none of us would be here today. It is because God is patient and loves us beyond our shortcomings. He still decides to remain faithful to us and use us despite of.

Can we translate Gods mind towards us to how we treat the issues of life? You too must remain steadfast in your faith despite of. You are not allowed to quit because life becomes challenging. You must hold on to the word of God and keep pushing forward because there is a reward waiting for you and I.
