Live a Colorful Life

Today is my birthday and it's a time of reflection. Another year has been added and I want to grow living my life to its fullest with everything God has deposited on the inside of me.
“Yet, O Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our Potter, And we all are the work of Your hand.”
Isaiah 64:8 AMP
We are clay in the hands of God and made as his masterpiece! He created us with such joy and pride. Imagine you are an artist and have a gallery of your work for people to admire. How would that make you feel? You would take pride in what you created.
The beautiful thing about an artist is that they can be as creative and imaginative with no limitations. With the life Christ has given you, how are you reflecting His nature? Are you colorful, manifesting all that is within? Is there even a splash of color on your paper? Are people coming around you to benefit from the light you bring to the world?
Why keep your life plain and simple? People think they are humble when shying away from the gifts of God when actually its a sign of pride. Why would God create you only to keep you hiding under a bush? It would mean He is ashamed or embarrassed of you. Read the following scripture. Meditate, and pray "Lord anyway that I have not reflected your light in me, open my eyes that from today, I begin to shine before men that they will glorify and honor you. In Jesus name, Amen."
“You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven.”
Matthew 5:14-16 AMP
Pause for a moment and ask yourself. "What do I want to be known for that the whole world will know about me?" Do not be an empty coloring page in a book that's meant to be colored. There is more to you than you know. If you are wondering how to discover your gifts and calling, go to the one who created you; God. He is the creator and no one else including yourself knows you better than Him.
“O Lord, you have searched me [thoroughly] and have known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up [my entire life, everything I do]; You understand my thought from afar. Even before there is a word on my tongue [still unspoken], Behold, O Lord, You know it all.”

“Indeed the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not be afraid; you are far more valuable than many sparrows.”
Luke 12:7 AMP
Today, a pack of crayons has been handed over to you. May the pages of your life's book be filled with beauty and color. My prayer for you today is that you fulfill every written prophecy concerning you. Let your life be colorful. No more hiding but shine as God's beautiful clay.
