What's in Front of You?

I was driving the other day and for a moment, I was focusing more on cars that were far away in the distance when in actuality my focus needed to be on the cars in front of me.

In our world today, many strive to get ahead which is great but, neglect process to the finish line. There is a path we must pass through before the manifestation of our destiny. Jesus Christ as much as He was God here on earth, endured a 33.5 year process on earth. He completed His assignment before being glorified and returned back to the Father in heaven.

"Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory and majesty that I had with You before the world existed." John 17:5

God will reveal His great plans for your life. Be wise, plan, and allow the Holy Spirit guide you. One thing remains the same; to not allow yourself to be carried away with the future that you forget what's committed to you right now in this season. The tests and development you undergo may seem insignificant and unimportant but are the necessary skills that shape you for tomorrow. You may feel uncomfortable and want to rush it but enjoy your season and learn as much as you can. Your foundation if built strong will last a lifetime.

Some years ago before I opened my daycare center, the Lord had me work at a daycare center for two years. During this period, I observed, asked questions, learned as much information as possible not knowing that one day I would have a daycare of my own. Although I Ioved the kids I worked with at the time, I did not enjoy other factors surrounding the job that many times I begged the Lord to leave (to the point I did not care for a job). He said "No, you're in training". I would ponder and ask myself "Training for what?!" The word "No, you're in training" was my obedience which kept me there till I was ready when the Lord birthed the daycare business idea and released me to start.

I could have easily failed if I aborted the 2 year process without receiving proper training, experience, or knowledge in the field. The question you must ask yourself is "Do I have humility to do whatever God asks me to do?"
