Everyday people are moving towards something, chasing after their visions and dreams but in different directions. My journey is different from yours and vice versa. The big question is "Where are you headed?" Let me break it down for you. Essentially I am asking, what do you want to achieve in life? What will be your legacy after you are gone? We think we have much time but the truth is, God is the owner of time and He makes the final determination of your destiny. It is not about your length of days but the quality of life you lived according to what was written about you.
It is an unfortunate thing to live aimlessly without fulfilling purpose. Visualize it in this way; you give someone an expensive gift, they accept however the moment you leave they bury it in their closet never to be touched or seen again. How would that make you feel? Your life is a gift from God. He created you as a gift to the world. What will you do with what has been given?
Click and Read the following passage on the Parable of the Talents: Matthew 25:14-30 AMP
From the scripture, a master gathered servants together and gave each a gift (talent) to be entrusted with since he was going away. Now as you read the story look at this as Jesus the master and categorize yourself with one of the servants. Each was given a precious gift from the master and was expected to utilize the gift appropriately. In the same way, God has given you a gift(s). The ones that were given five and two talents invested theirs and gained profit however the last servant did nothing with it. Instead he buried it in the ground. This is a depiction of the lives of many believers. From the beginning of time God is intentional about purpose. Everything He creates is for a purpose, that includes you and I. God gives gifts to His children according to their ability. So forget about who has one, five, ten, or three. Focus on what He gave you and utilize your gift. Grow it, invest in it to its fullest. When you are faithful with the little God gives you He will multiply it.
Look around and within yourself. What did God give that you chose to bury and hide? Do not be like the servant that made excuses before the master.
““For to everyone who has [and values his blessings and gifts from God, and has used them wisely], more will be given, and [he will be richly supplied so that] he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have [because he has ignored or disregarded his blessings and gifts from God], even what he does have will be taken away. [Matt 13:12; Luke 19:26]”
Matthew 25:29 AMP
At the end of your life will you be able to confidently say "I have used every part of me to its fullest"? Will you hear God say to you "Well done, good and faithful servant"? One thing we must understand about God and His dealings with His children is that we can be replaced. Meaning God is not a respecter of man that if you do not step up to do what He has called you for, His kingdom work will pause. He will find raise someone else to do the job.
Now is the time to revist the visions, prophecies, and the words God has spoken to you. The ball is in your court.
